Francesco Villa Verde is a lovely self-catering villa near the blue flag beaches of Pozzallo in Sicily.

Near Santa Maria del Foccallo and only about 300m back from the coast road and the beach, in a residential area, Francesco Villa Verde sits in its own grounds and pretty walled garden. A flat, gentle stroll brings you to the coast road. Cross this and directly opposite is a gap in the dunes, which leads onto the wonderful golden sand, stretching as far as the eye can see in both directions.

Francesco Villa Verde is an impressive detached, modern villa. Owned by a builder, who is extremely proud of it, it is obvious that he has put his heart and soul into building and furnishing it and we hope that guests will cherish it with the care it deserves. It is very private and Long Travel guests enter through an electronic gate onto a private driveway. The garden is well kept and pretty with Mediterranean trees, palms and shrubs. Great for alfresco living, the ample covered terraces around the Villa Verde are extremely generous and perfect for relaxing. There is even an extra kitchen off the terrace, which has another fridge, a pizza oven and barbecue. In fact, the cooking facilities outside are so good, that it is difficult to imagine the need to use the kitchen inside!

Francesco Villa Verde’s interior is spacious and bright and all on one floor. The open-plan sitting/dining room, with beautifully fitted kitchen area, is extremely comfortable and elegant. A stunning glass dining table and white upholstered dining chairs and sofas feel stylish and give much more of an impression of a home than a holiday villa. Two sets of French doors lead directly onto terraces outside. Leading off the lounge, a corridor takes guests to the three tastefully furnished bedrooms and two good, modern shower rooms. The third shower room, which is also of a good modern standard, is accessed off the terrace, next to the outdoor kitchen.
