Hotel Indigo (Grand Hotel Des Arts) was built in 1920’s in the Liberty style at the request of a noble Austrian family, the Reichenbach. It was their elegant city residence and was subsequently converted into a hotel without changing the architectural quality of this beautiful building.

This Art Nouveau style hotel is ideally located for discovering the city of Verona as most of the sites are within easy walking distance to the hotel.

Paintings and sculptures of famous artists such as Ciardi, Cascella, Minguzzi, Manzù, Purificato, Murer, Arnoldi and many others can be admired in the public areas and the indoor garden. Together with these valuable pieces of art, you can also admire the beautiful red marble floor dating back to the original period.

Grand Hotel des Arts is a four-star hotel and located on Corso Porta Nuova, about 750 metres from Piazza Brà and from Verona Arena. The Lamberti Tower, the tallest historic building in Verona (84 meters), is located about 1.4 km away. The Museum of Castelvecchio, with its thirty halls, housed within the Scala family castle dating back to the fourteenth century, is about 900 metres away.
