Hotel Giordano is a stylish family hotel in Ravello, boasting enviable views of the Amalfi Coast.

Hotel Giordano is in an enviable spot, really close to Ravello’s main piazza and only a short stroll from some of the Amalfi Coast’s most famous places of interest. The quaint Hotel Giordano makes for the ideal choice with both families and couples alike. Approached via a typically narrow street, Hotel Giordano feels quite hidden away and secluded for a hotel in Ravello.

Owned by the same family as Hotel Villa Maria, the family friendly Hotel Giordano is more modern, but not lacking in any of its charm. Beautifully designed, its crisp, elegant interior, antique furnishings and paintings, contrast with the simple and stylish décor, to give it real individuality.

The rooms have been tastefully furnished and vary in style, some feeling more modern, others furnished with antiques. Many of them overlook the pool towards Ravello’s main square and the lovely countryside of the Amalfi Coast, beyond. Others overlook the pretty gardens, or mountains.

The Hotel Giordano’s lovely, large swimming pool is on a terrace, where breakfast can usually be taken, when the weather is good. The pool is the perfect place to watch the little one’s whiles taking in the beaming sunshine that the Amalfi Coast always comes top trumps on. As the Giordano and the Hotel Villa Maria are owned by the same family, guests can use either hotel’s facilities. Dinner is taken at the Hotel Villa Maria, which seems, to us here at Long Travel, to be a particularly good arrangement, as it has a very good reputation for the quality of the food, the attentive service and the wonderful atmosphere – especially when you can dine outside, overlooking the bay of Ravello, with lights twinkling in the distance. Oh, so romantic! The gentle stroll, about five minutes up a stepped path, does wonders for your appetite, and gravity helps, on the way back down!
