Hotel Miramalfi is a family friendly, beach hotel on the Amalfi Coast with great views, the hotel Miramalfi is hard to beat.
With what must be one of the best locations near Amalfi, just a 10 minute walk, or a short ride in the hotel’s shuttle, from the centre, the hotel Miramalfi is ideally located, for families with or without a car.
With panoramic views of Amalfi, the family friendly hotel perches on a cliff top, towering above the sea. It has a modern elegance, which is enhanced by its beautiful, panoramic views, in almost every direction. The hotel Miramalfi is constantly being improved and updated and gets better every time we at Long Travel visit.
The dining room at the lovely Amalfi Coast hotel has been decorated in cool blues and sunny yellows, giving that fresh beachy Mediterranean feel. The whole room is light and airy, with masses of glass and a terrace, to take full advantage of the views over Amalfi. Dinner and breakfast are served on this Amalfi viewing deck, and on the terrace in summer months (usually June to September).
Mediterranean colours, pale greens and turquoises of traditional Vietri tiles, and stylish furnishings also give the hotel Miramalfi’s bedrooms a bright and airy Italian feel. We particularly like the lovely superior rooms perfect for families.
The hotel Miramalfi’s swimming pool has been sculpted into the rocks to cleverly match the shape of the cliff above it! Reached by stairs or a lift carved into the cliff face, the bathing area is surrounded by ornamental tropical woody vines and decking covers the rocks, providing a platform for sun beds, deckchairs and umbrellas. Bathing platforms, way below, give access to the beach and the sea and spectacular sunbathing spots. You could not be in a better position for some family swimming.
Le Onde Restaurant, on hotel Miramalfi’s terrace above the pool, serves cocktails and soft drinks during the day and great Italian lunches in the summer – seafood, grilled meat and fish, snacks and traditional Neapolian thick-crusted pizzas, baked in a wood oven, will tempt any taste buds.
Ultra-modern, with a fascinating use of copper and other metals, and silver, black and white décor, Hotel Miramalfi has a theme of waves, beaches, gently undulating, it is very designer and very chic with a simplicity making it the perfect family hotel on the Amalfi Coast. The open barbecue and kitchen areas are really impressive. What a place for a family party! It is a popular choice for weddings and celebrations, and, sometimes, in the summer, for special dinners for the hotel Miramalfi guests.
