Hotel Villa Garden is a unique, boutique, romantic hotel in Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. Uninterrupted sea views and a warm family welcome, we always feel at home at the Hotel Villa Garden.
Situated in the residential Sant’Agnello, about 3km from Sorrento’s centre, the Hotel Villa Garden, with a small promenade opposite, has uninterrupted views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius and is the perfect spot on the Amalfi Coast. Marinella beach, reached by lift, is around the corner, and Sorrento’s main square is about half an hour’s easy walk or is reachable by the regular bus service.
Once a private villa, the boutique Hotel Villa Garden is cosy, comfortably furnished and superbly well maintained and clean. Charming bedrooms have en-suite bath/shower with hydromassage and there is a small, well-equipped gym. The glass conservatory breakfast room, built directly into the cliff, hangs right over the sea, making the most of the lovely views of Vesuvius and the coastline over Sorrento. The lounge, with bar, is delightfully romantic and there is a games room, with billiards, playing cards and a piano perfect for some unwinding time.
Hotel Villa Garden’s swimming pool is in the garden, and, at most times of the year, delicious, Italian home-made lunchtime snacks are served on tables around the pool. Light snacks are available, to order, at other times. Apart from this, the Terrazza Bar Paravisiello, opposite the unique Hotel Villa Garden and sitting directly over the sea, is perfect for a Sorrento sunset aperitivo or light snacks. It’s a great relaxing spot.

Liberally mix in a group of the most charming, friendly and helpful people you could meet (we will not call them staff, since that sounds a bit stand-offish and they are far too nice for that). Top off with a view from the breakfast room that most hoteliers would kill for, and you probably have the perfect hotel for a quiet, relaxing break. For our week away we did not have to ask for our key, because the girls behind the desk knew who we were, from the very first day.
