Residence di Campagna San Giulia is a cluster of traditional-style, agritourist Sardinian buildings, in a spectacular position, just 15 minutes from the interesting old walled town of Alghero, and a few kilometres from some very nice beaches and the Capo Caccia nature reserve. The “borgo” of villettas at Casale Del Monte has fantastic open views, stretching as far as Alghero, with a glimpse of the sea, in the distance, and it is in an incomparable rural and peaceful setting.
The owners of the Residence di Campagna San Giulia villas supplement their own 72 hectares with pockets of land farmed by others, to become one of Sardinia’s most important producers of excellent quality olive oil, producing and exporting millions of litres every year, and winning many national and international awards. But, being very Sardinian, the Residence di Campagna San Giulia self-catering villa owners care about food and traditions, and they also farm for other traditional products. They have 300 pigs, wild boar, donkeys, goats, chickens, prickly pears and other fruit and vegetables.
In true agriturismo style, much of what you eat in Residence di Campagna San Giulia farm’s excellent restaurant-come-trattoria-come-pizzeria is literally farm-to-table. Flavours explode your tastebuds; traditional and classic Sardinian dishes have a light modern twist and farmhouse kitchen recipes are as robust and delicious as ever.
Designed to look like a traditional Sardinian village or borgo, with several buildings, landscaped into the grounds and in an incredibly impressive location, Residence di Campagna San Giulia's family-friendly apartments and villettas are in typical, Sardinian style and are of very good quality. Each has a furnished veranda, and most enjoy fantastic views. There are two lovely pools at Residence di Campagna San Giulia, which seems a particular extravagance for so few apartments.

Great for children and adults, the farm animals are an irresistible attraction for the whole family. Get up close and personal with sows and pigs with their little piglets, semi-wild boar, the flock of sheep and lambs, goats, kids and farmyard hens.
