Holiday With The Stars!

If you’re looking to plan a celebrity-inspired holiday, then let us take you through the various places in Italy, where if you’re lucky, you may touch shoulders or see your favourite celebrity.

Lake Como

The third-largest in Italy, has always been George Clooney’s favourite spot. He purchased the beautiful Villa Oleandra on the lake’s shores in 2001, and he’s been vacationing there ever since. Liam Payne is another celebrity regularly seen on the lake’s shores, enjoying the quiet vibes that a lakeside vacation will offer you. Beyoncé, Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy were impelled to visit Lake Como after watching the movie ‘Call Me By Your Name’. The town of Crema, where the movie was set, is barely two hours away from the lake.

Rome & Venice

Sylvester Stallone may be well-known for his incredible physique, but he has been seen with a gelato or two now and again. Very much in the moment with her interview with Megan and Harry, Oprah Winfrey also made her way through Rome and enjoyed truffle hunting in Umbria. Venice is home to the legendary Gritti Palace Hotel, and has become an iconic destination for generations of the global rich and famous, such as Ernest Hemmingway, Elizabeth Taylor, Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, Grace Kelly and Richard Burton.

Liguria

Liguria and its beautiful Riviera, is home to the famous Portofino, with its picturesque harbour has become a meeting place for the international jet set. Sarah Jessica Parker enjoyed both Portofino and Camogli, with yacht excursions along the coast. Kourtney Kardashian also enjoyed sailing along the Riviera Ligure. Other visitors include Cher, Vanessa Hudgens, Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Longoria, Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Lewis Hamilton, Lana Del Rey and Jennifer Lopez in Portofino - just to name a few!

Amalfi Coast & Capri

Another Italian hotspot is Campania’s Amalfi Coast, the northern part of the Salerno Gulf. Among the people it attracts, you can find Hugh Jackman and his family, who enjoyed the sights the coast has to offer, and supermodel Karlie Kloss, while Bradley Cooper and ex Irina Shayk preferred to stay in Positano. Mariah Carey loves swimming in the blue waters of Capri, as does Sacha Baron Cohen, Rihanna and the famous Facebook creator, Mark Zuckerberg! Leonardo DiCaprio, as his surname would suggest, also decided to spend some time on this beautiful island.

Sicily

This largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, hosted Sarah Jessica Parker for a while before touring the city of Ragusa. Sicily is the land of origin of many American personalities like Lady Gaga, Sylvester Stallone or Britney Spears’ grandmother! Taormina is also called "The Monte Carlo of Sicily", as this beautiful destination has always attracted royal and noble families as well as celebrities. The gorgeous and talented Audrey Hepburn presence is still palpable in Taormina where she loved to visit.

Puglia

Where does Britain’s most famous family go for their Italian break - The Beckhams love spending time at Borgo Egnazia five -star hotel and villa complex. The family could be seen cycling through 2,000-year-old olive groves, sampling Michelin-starred risotto, and relaxing spa treatments in the candlelit Vair spa. Other famous faces frequent the resort which hosted Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s wedding in 2012, and has also played host to Michael Bublé and Richard Branson and their families.
