1. Antonella Datome - Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel and Suites, Sardinia
Job Title: Marketing Manager and member of the family owner
Years worked at the hotel: 40 years
I love my hotel because it is my house. We all work to improve the hotel to make it better for us and for our guests. In 1979 I was a tourist for the first time in Sardinia who spend 14 days of her holidays ay Gabbiano Azzurro. I fell in love with the island even before arriving at the hotel, and it was even easier to fall in love with the owner - Sergio Datome, whose father built the hotel in the 60s. in 2021 it will be the hotels 53rd season.
The best bit about my job is meeting people. During the season I don’t go out from the hotel since the world is continuously coming in. I have the opportunity to meet wonderful people, who come from all over the world. This job is just like travelling around the world, but within the walls of my own home!
2. Paula Gargiulo - Hotel Villa Garden, Sorrento
Job Title: Staff member and part of the family who run the hotel
Years worked at the hotel: 24 years
I love the hotel because, being a family hotel meant that I grew up here. My mother worked on reception before me!
The best part of my job is always meeting new people and making sure we’re providing them with great hospitality – just like it’s their second home when they are so far away from their country. My work allows me to express my sense of hospitality that I have been taught me over the years. The personal service that we give to our customers makes all the difference!
3. Cinzia Callegari – Villa Del Golfo
Job Title: Marketing and Sales Manager
Years worked at the hotel: 12 years
I love the hotel because it is located in a wonderful Mediterranean island with a Caribbean Sea, and when you arrive are enchanted by the sweetness of the landscape and the breath of the sea. It is an elegant resort where Guests can feel at home and where they can live every experience as an adventure that will not be forgotten.
I like to be able to create products and experiences for the resort that are appreciated by the guests. I love to be able to keep in contact with the other players of the luxury branch of tourism and organize trips to present our destination and our resort to Travel Agents and to some preselected and exclusive media representatives. I also enjoy the happiness from guests that really appreciate the destination and the resort.
4. Domenico & Marinella Scordari - Naturalis Bio Resort, Puglia
Job Title: The Owner
Years worked at the hotel: In 2012 we decided to transform this old farming village into a charming resort. Since then, we are always present to welcome and cuddle our guests together with the whole Naturalis team.
Immersed in an evocative landscape, set within 20 hectares of unspoilt Salentinian nature, the Nautralis Borgo is the perfect synthesis of our way creating a holiday escape. 5. Giovanna Russo - Hotel Bellevue Syrene, Sorrento

I love my Hotel because it is a magical place. The view of the sea from here is unique in the world. I love it because it is a house full of history but at the same time revisited in a modern way. We offer a first-class service and we always try to improve ourselves. The best part about my job is the contact I get to have with guests and the many new challenges I have to face on a daily basis.
6. Giancarlo Massola - Agriturismo Villanova, Cinque Terre
Job Title: Owner and Manager
Years worked at the hotel: Since 1999
I moved here from Genova as a life choice as I wanted to live in nature, and also Villanova has belonged to my family for more than 300 years. I enjoy renovating everything and loving opening it to people from all over the world. The best bit about my job is that I can develop different projects and get to meet people for many different countries.
